Please help spread the word to family and friends and join us for a fun celebration on 1st street as the 50+ participating Fireball Run vehicles cross the finish line at Magnolia Square. Team Drivers also include 4 Astronauts, and movie/tv celebrities including Christopher McDonald. For all of you Happy Gilmore movie fans, Christopher McDonald is the real Shooter Magavin! J

Most importantly, this event is our opportunity as a community to provide a warm welcome home to our very own Team Sanford represented by participants Mayor Triplett and Don Schreiner who will be returning home for the day from the Fireball Run adventure! You can follow Team Sanford on Facebook and help the team solve clues to help them earn points with their missions by clicking on the link www.facebook.com/teamsanford as they are currently in 13th place!

Each participating vehicle represents and sponsors a missing child and as these vehicles make their way on the 8 day, 2,000 mile Fireball Run journey which started in Hartford Connecticut and ends in Space Coast Florida, the participating teams are passing out flyers and creating awareness at each destination in an effort to help find Americas missing children. The teams also have to compete in a variety of different missions at each destination in an effort to earn points which they will be doing throughout Seminole County on Friday October 2nd.

We invite you to join us this Friday as we welcome the Fireball Run participants into downtown Sanford between 3pm-6pm. We will help provide a warm welcome home for our Team Sanford which is represented by our very own City of Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett and Don Schreiner!
