Free admission for First Responders and Law Enforcement for Patriot Day weekend

In recognition of Patriot Day on September 11, 2016, Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will offer free admission to first responders this weekend.

Police and Sheriff officers, firefighters, EMTs, state troopers, 911 dispatchers, and other professionals involved in law enforcement, investigations and emergency response can receive FREE admission to Central Florida Zoo from September 9 to 11.  To be eligible, visitors just need to present a professional credential, along with a valid government-issued photo ID, at the Zoo’s ticket window.

Family members and friends who accompany law enforcement and first responders at the Central Florida Zoo ticket window can receive a discounts of $2 off adult, senior and child admission.

Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums  which sets the rigorous professional standards for animal welfare, veterinary care, wildlife conservation, research, education, staffing and safety.

The Zoo, which is open to the public 363 days a year, is located only minutes from Orlando or Daytona Beach (I-4, exit 104).
