Exciting new things are happening at the Zoo! The first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grade curriculum programs have all been updated with new Next Generation Sunshine State Standards and Big Ideas! Be sure to check out the new changes to the programs.
Registration for the new 2011-2012 Homeschool ZOOventure classes opens on August 17th!

The Central Florida Zoo is a resource center for wildlife and conservation education. Experience a living classroom where students can explore wild opportunities in learning. A variety of outreach programs are available to come to you.
A wide range of subject areas, targeting specific grades, may be covered through the Zoo’s vast resources. And, the Zoo offers many programs that directly complement the Florida Sunshine State Standards requirements.
We are serious about making education fun! We invite you to explore the many ways we can incorporate hands-on teaching and critical thinking exercises into meaningful learning experiences. Encounter a new breed of education at the Central Florida Zoo!

4th Grade: Processes of Life
5th Grade: Cycles in Nature
