Emergency Operating Fund

We hope you will consider making a donation to our Emergency Operating Fund to help offset the expected revenue loss during this difficult and unprecedented time.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens relies on ticket sales, memberships, education program revenue, and donations in order to operate.  Despite being closed to the public, our animal care team is still providing exceptional care for our animals.  Our ongoing costs include food, medical supplies, enrichment for the animals, and maintenance of our exhibits.

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens understands the importance of protecting our community and will continue to follow county and state recommendations for closure until further notice. However, with no visitors, the Zoo has lost almost the entirety of its income, and March and April in particular are significant revenue months, so the timing of our closure has been a huge hit to us financially.

Any gift is appreciated and helps support your local Zoo and its mission to provide experiences that excite and inspire to learn and act on behalf of wildlife.
