Join us at our herpetarium to celebrate the threatened Eastern indigo snake. The Zoo’s Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation (OCIC) works year-round at their location in Eustis, Florida. This 25-acre facility works with the Orianne Society to breed this species and release them into their native habitats at locations in the panhandle of Florida and southern Georgia. Learn more about North America’s largest species of snake and the Zoo’s conservation efforts through the OCIC, plus how you can get involved!
This event is included with general Zoo admission, though additional fees may apply for certain activities.
