Invincible Invertebrates!

Invincible Invertebrates presents a diversity of live animals and includes innovative grade-specific activities and discussion that target benchmarks in the Florida Sunshine State Standards.

Pre-K thru 1st grade:

Through puppets and make believe, students will create a magical garden to discover all the roles a diversity of invertebrates play.

2nd thru 5th grades:

A digiscope will be used to examine the tiny but mighty invertebrates on a large screen.  Diversity, reproduction methods, metamorphosis, pollination, and decomposition are just a few of the topics discussed.

6th thru 12th grades:

In addition to the above, an even more in-depth discussion will include the natural history of invertebrates, the interdependence of species, human culture and the role of invertebrates.
