Creature Chronicle at the Central Florida Zoo

Let us help prepare your 3rd, 4th and 5th graders for FCAT!

Bring the Zoo to your classroom each month with the Creature Chronicle newsletter and activity booklet.

This unique tool is designed to target skills and information needed to excel at FCAT and Florida Writes, while featuring a different animal at the Zoo in each issue.

This newsletter integrates personal facts about the animals into science, reading comprehension, and mathematics. An expository writing contest will be held bi-monthly, with all entries displayed at the Zoo. The winning entry will receive a visit to his or her classroom from an Education Staff member and an Animal Ambassador.

In each issue students will receive a FREE pass to visit the Zoo (when accompanied by a paying adult).
