Second Grade: Zoo Keepers 101

Second Grade:
Zoo Keepers 101

North American river otter photoYour second graders have just been hired as Zoo Keepers. What will their new job entail? Students will learn the ropes of being an animal keeper as they rotate through different learning stations throughout the Zoo. They will compare and contrast the basic needs as they meet live animals up close in our classroom. While on tour they wil see animals from around the world to discover how Zoo Keepers plan animal habitats to meet the needs of each animal. Then explore wild Florida as we travel into bear habitat to learn how Keepers care for Florida's wildlife!

New second grade program! Formerly known as "Two to the Zoo". It now includes visiting the Zoo's exciting new bear habitat!
