Whether your troop are animal lovers or just starting to learn about the wonders of nature, the Central Florida Zoo offers a number of hands-on educational experience for scouts.

Girl Scout Badge Day
From wildlife to wild places, the Central Florida Zoo has plenty of opportunities for troop members to earn their badges. Zoo admission is included.
TIME: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
PRICE: $25 per participant

Cancellation Policy: Class size is limited. Classes are subject to cancellation if the minimum number of people is not met one week prior to program date. Refunds will not be provided for self-initiated cancellation once registration and payment have been processed.
Cub & Boy Scout Programs
Participate in these exciting interactive programs that will help you to earn your Scouting America merit badge. Supplies will be provided. Registration is required. Zoo admission is included.

Cub Scout Adventure Kits
Have fun exploring the Zoo with a Cub Scout Adventure Kit! This self-guided program includes fun tasks and activities designed to help scouts learn, observe, and put the values of scouting into action. Using the activity guidebook, Scout leaders will guide their Scouts through a series of Zoo-wide activities to complete their adventure requirements while visiting the zoo.
Each Cub Scout Adventure Kit includes:
- Scout leader activity guidebook and souvenir pen
- Admission tickets for all participants
- Certificates of completion for all Cub Scouts
- Special Zoo patch for each Cub Scout
- Everything is included in a reusable souvenir shopping bag
Cost:
$22 per scout
$20 per adult
Zoo admission included with purchase. Purchase must be made at least one week in advance.
Available for pick up on selected date from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Create Your Own Scoutventure!
Tailor a Scout program just for your group. Looking to cover a specific topic or earn a particular animal or nature badge for your group? The Zoo can make your Scout dreams happen.
- COST: $24 per person, minimum of 20 people required (includes Scouts and adults), or base cost if less than 20, max of 100. Price includes Zoo admission and choice of program. Only Scouts and chaperones may attend program. Other guests may pay regular admission and enjoy the Zoo.
- TIME: Approximately 2 hours
- AVAILIBITY: Saturdays / September through May
- RESERVATIONS: A minimum of one month’s notice is required. Please include your badge requirements when submitting your date request. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm you reservation. Final payment is required two weeks prior to your program date.
