Experience an immersive and educational adventure with our animal encounter program. Led by expert zookeepers and educators, guests get up close with a variety of fascinating creatures, learning about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation.
Program Details
- Time: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
- Dates: Monday – Friday
- Ages: Second grade and up
- Group Size: Min. 10, Max. 100 per day, broken into four programs
- Pricing:
- $18 per child
- $23 per adult
- One adult FREE per 10 children
- Includes Zoo admission
*Additional $2 per person if an animal encounter is also scheduled.

Reservations Required Three Weeks in Advance.
Cancellations: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel a program. Groups that cancel within 24 hours will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

Endangered Species Tour
Students will get the chance to learn more about the endangered and threatened animals living at our Zoo and what measures are being taken to protect their natural habitats and help rebuild the species through conservation projects.
Planet Safari
Discover fascinating facts about our Zoo’s animals, including their natural history, habitats, status in the wild and the roles Zoos like ours play in their survival. On this Safari-style tour, you’ll travel across the world to meet animals from far and wide, learning about their unique adaptations, natural behaviors, special skills and much more.
