Zoo Receives Donation from Sanford-Local Company, Thermotane Propane

As a nonprofit organization, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens welcomes donations of all kinds from our Central Florida community. We’re thankful for the generous donations we have received, including the most recent donation by Sanford-local company, Thermotane Propane, headed by the Zoo’s Board Chair, Chandler Robertson.

Recently, the Thermotane Propane team donated and installed propane tanks, tankless water heaters and generators at the Zoo, and over at the Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation. These new additions will allow the Zoo and the OCIC to conserve energy and eliminate wasting water, resulting in vastly reduced costs for the organization. We are thrilled to have our Board led by a thoughtful and dedicated team member like Chandler.

“Thermotane is very happy to provide this equipment to the Zoo and the OCIC. We are a proud supporter and will continue to provide support whenever needed,” said Chandler.

One thing the Zoo is known for is being a conservation education resource. Now, these new installations will supply a greener power source for our many teams to use in their day-to-day operations.

Thank you again to Thermotane Propane!
