Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

3755 W. Seminole Blvd.
Sanford, Florida 32771

Getting Here

We’re Open! But we are hearing from guests that the Road Closed signs are confusing!
The City of Sanford’s RiverWalk Project has entered Phase III and West Seminole Boulevard is closed…but the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is still open!
To get to the Zoo, you have to approach West Seminole Boulevard from Monroe Road,
US-17 S/US-92 W, or Interstate 4. Guests will not be able to access the Zoo from downtown Sanford using West Seminole Boulevard.
You will need to use the right lane to go past the Detour | Road Closed | Zoo Delivery sign and barricades on West Seminole Boulevard to access the Zoo. Please use caution and obey posted speed limits, as the area in front of the Zoo’s entrance is an active work zone.
For more information about the City of Sanford’s Riverwalk Project, please visit their website at www.sanfordfl.gov.
