“Myths, Mysteries, and Monsters”
October 3, 2026
Registration Opens: August 20, 2026

Embark on an exciting night tour at the zoo as you explore the mysteries of cryptozoology. From skunk apes to sirens—are they real? Hear the stories and examine the evidence to decide. Up-close animal encounters may change your fear to fascination, as we tackle the truth about some of nature’s most feared nocturnal creatures. This is a fun program for families, but because it is a late-night program and includes some slightly scary stories, children must be ten years or older to attend.

“Under The Stars”

Registration Opens: January 1, 2027

Explore the stars as you experience the sights and sounds of the Zoo at night during this exciting nocturnal adventure! The evening will begin in the Discovery Center with a special presentation by the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust PLANETARIUM from Seminole State College. Fascinating nightlife will come to light as we venture into the Zoo for a guided flashlight tour, up close animal encounters, and an opportunity to explore the night sky through a planetarium telescope. This is a great program for families, but because it is a late-night program, children must be five years or older to attend.
