Endangered Species Day

May 17, 2025

9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Endangered Species Day

Celebrate Endangered Species Day with us at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens! Follow along with our otters, Molly and Fern, as we explore how we can all protect wildlife—near and far.

Enjoy interactive activity stations, special keeper chats, and hands-on fun like building a toad abode in the Children’s Garden. Learn how small changes at home can make a big impact for animals around the world. Plus, don’t miss the chance to purchase original artwork created by some of our animal artists!

Proceeds from the day benefit the International Otter Survival Fund.
