Scouting America Merit Badge Day

Scouts can work toward earning their Reptile & Amphibian merit badge during this engaging, hands-on program at the Zoo. Led by Zoo education staff, these interactive sessions combine classroom learning with real-world observation of animals to help scouts complete key badge requirements.

Participants will explore the fascinating adaptations, behaviors, and habitats of these animals while learning directly from wildlife experts. Scouts will also have the opportunity to observe animals up close and gain a deeper understanding of conservation and wildlife care.

All program supplies are provided, and Zoo admission is included with registration, so participants are welcome to continue exploring the Zoo after their session.

Space is limited and advance registration is required.

Cancellation Policy: Class size is limited. Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum number of people is not met one week prior to program date. Refunds will not be provided for self-initiated cancellation once registration and payment have been processed.
