Presidents’ Day Camp

Monday, February 16, 2026

No school? No problem. Spend Presidents’ Day at the Zoo with a full day of adventure, exploration, and animal fun.

Presidents’ Day Camp is a one-day Zoo camp experience packed with hands-on activities, animal encounters, games, crafts, and a guided Zoo tour. Campers will make new friends, explore the Zoo, and create unforgettable memories — all while learning about wildlife and the natural world.

Perfect for kids who love animals, being outdoors, and discovering something new.

🐢 Turtle Power!

Ages 5-6

Get ready to slow down and explore the world of turtles, both big and small. Campers will search for turtles around the Zoo, learn where they live, how they grow, and what makes these ancient animals so unique. Through games, crafts, and up-close learning, it’s turtle power to the extreme.

🌴 Going Wild!

Ages 6–12

We’re going WILD with an all-day adventure inspired by rainforests around the world. Campers will explore this incredible ecosystem through hands-on activities, meet ambassador animals up close, and journey through the Zoo while learning what makes rainforests so important to wildlife and people.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A CAMPER

We want every camper’s experience at camp to be positive and memorable. To provide that experience, campers should be able to:

  • Move independently from place to place; ability to stay with the group at all times.
  • Take care of their own personal needs.
  • Have effective interactions in our group-based environment (ex. buddy systems, group projects, etc.)
  • Abide by the Camp Manners Agreement

Mask Policy – All participants are required to bring a face mask for any behind-the-scenes animal encounters; no exceptions.

If you have any questions about the essential functions listed above, please contact us at 407.323.4450 ext. 123. We would be happy to talk to you about your camper’s specific needs.
