Spring Break is going to be wild at the Zoo! Week-long camps are offered for children 5-6, 6–8 and 9–12. All campers will get to experience up-close animal encounters, special visits around the Zoo, games, and activities!
ZOOper Zookeepers
(Ages 5-6)
Campers will learn how zookeepers care for the animals. It’s a big job, but there’s fun ahead as they experience life at the Zoo.
ZOOper Kids!
(Ages 6-8)
It’s going to be an exciting week at the Zoo as we work to save endangered species around the world. Discover habitats that must be saved, animals on the brink of extinction…what can we do? It’s ZOOper Kids to the rescue!
ZOOper Explorers
(Ages 9-12)
We’re going wild about animals as we explore habitats around the world to learn more about the animals that live there. From deserts to grasslands, amphibians to mammals, it’s going to be an exciting adventure as we track wildlife in wild places!

$240 for Annual Passholders or $260 for Non-Passholders

Each order will include a $3 transaction fee to cover order processing. This fee is charged per transaction/order and not per reservation.
We want every camper’s experience at camp to be positive and memorable. To provide that experience, campers should be able to:
Move independently from place to place; ability to stay with the group at all times.
Take care of their own personal needs.
Have effective interactions in our group-based environment (ex. buddy systems, group projects, etc.)

Can my camper attend any age program?
The Zoo’s summer camps have been designed to provide our campers with a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate program. To promote teamwork and provide the best experience for all campers, please register children according to the age they will be while participating in summer camp. The Zoo reserves the right to move campers into camps appropriate for their age level. We encourage campers to experience a variety of camps. Repeating camps are the same.
What about Lunch and Snack Options?
Each camper must bring their own lunch. Lunches brought from home do not have to be disposable. We will have snack time in the morning and afternoon, so please send two snacks with your child. We suggest you label all lunch/snack items and water bottles so they can be returned quickly if misplaced. Each camper must bring a water bottle with their name on it.
What about Check-in / Drop-off Procedures?
Parent/guardians will be asked to provide the names of everyone allowed to pick up their child(ren) the first day of check-in.
Parents, guardians, and other non-essential visitors will not be permitted into designated camp classrooms.
What about Pick-up Procedures?
Parents/guardians are required to provide a valid driver’s license each day for pick-up. (Photos not accepted)

What is your Electronics Policy?
To ensure a safe, engaging, and distraction-free camp experience, the following policies apply to all campers.
Campers may bring cell phones: however, phones must be put away during zoo activities, including presentations, lessons, animal encounters, and group time.
Campers may use their phones to take photos when instructed by Zoo Staff. Teen campers 13-17 may use phones appropriately during lunch.
Smart watches may be worn provided they are used only for timekeeping and do not distract the camper or others. Messaging, calling, gaming, or recording features should not be used during zoo activities.
All cell phones, smart watches, and cameras are the sole responsibility of the camper. No other electronics are allowed.
What to bring? What to wear?
For your child’s comfort, socks and closed-toe shoes are required. No CROC shoes.
If your child needs insect repellent or sunscreen, please apply these in the morning before camp begins.
Each child is required to bring a reusable water bottle. Please make sure his/her name is on the bottle.
Camp includes both indoor and outdoor activities, so please be sure to dress for the weather.
We will have lots of great things to see and do, so please no show-and-tell items.
What is your Medical Policy?
A medication policies and waivers form will be provided at check-in on the first day of camp for any camper bringing any type of medication. It is the responsibility of the parent/legal guardian to supply any necessary medical equipment that relates to a specific medical condition, including epi-pens and inhalers.
CFZ&BG staff MAY NOT administer medications of any kind, with the exception of epi-pen assistance in an emergency. This includes both over-the-counter (OTC) and prescribed medications.
CFZ&BG staff MAY witness camper self-administration, but this is not guaranteed.
What about Accessibility and Inclusion options?
When registering for camp, we ask that you include any additional information that will help us ensure that your child has a safe and fun camp experience. This could include information such as sensory, learning, mobility, or other needs. What is your Refund and Cancellation Policy?
Camps may be rescheduled for a $10.00 fee up to two times, but no refunds will be processed for rescheduled camps. Refunds will only be issued on cancellation requests made two weeks prior to the start of your camp session. A $50 processing fee is deducted from all refunds. There are no partial refunds for missed days of camp.
