Seminole Aerial Adventures FAQ

Yes, our courses are self-guided! A 30-minute safety briefing is given before the start of each adult course. Adventure Guides will be present to assist adventurers on all courses.

  • You will traverse the course independently, while aerial adventure guides follow from the ground.

Adventurers with physical limitations are able to book a personal Adventure Guide. We ask for at least 2 weeks notice to ensure Adventure Guide availability. Please email AnthonyG@CentralFloridaZoo.org.

No. Seminole Aerial Adventures is a separate attraction from the Zoo and does not include admission into the Zoo.

No, you will not see Zoo animals. Seminole Aerial Adventures is a featured attraction, prior to the Central Florida Zoo’s entrance. It is NOT included in Zoo admission.

We encourage and welcome you to purchase admission to the Zoo after you complete your aerial adventure. The Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, and is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

No, you cannot leave a minor unattended. Every participant who is a minor must have a chaperone. The minor must also have a signed waiver by a parent or guardian.

Chaperones can be anyone age 16+ who is authorized to stay with the minor with a signed waiver by the minor’s parent or guardian.

Yes! At this time we are asking all adventurers to purchase tickets online, in advance for a specific flight time.

Kids’ Course daily flight times are at9:15 a.m.,  11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Upland Course daily flight times are at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Upland & Rainforest Combo daily flight times are 10 :30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Seminole Aerial Adventures is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

All adventurers must check in at our Harness House. The Harness House is a small orange building located past the Zoo’s front Admissions building on the left. Adventurers do not check in at the Zoo’s front Admissions building.

No, masks are not required.

Yes! ALL participants must sign the appropriate waivers, which you can download and bring with you or fill out at our Harness House.

Adult Waiver

Minor Waiver

Minors under the age of 18 must have the Minor Release form signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to their flight. If you are bringing a minor that is not your own, a waiver must be signed by their parent or guardian in advance.

Please note: Minors under the age of 13 are required to be accompanied by an adult. Adults may choose to join the minor on the course or simply follow from the ground.

All tickets are per person and are non-refundable once course is started.

Yes — for all other courses, guests must be a minimum of 54″ tall.

Safety is our top priority and we have to make sure all guests can safely and comfortably wear the harness.

  • The weight limit is 250 pounds.

Since it is a self-guided adventure, we ask guests to be mindful of their physical ability to complete the course.

The Upland Course is our moderate course, suitable for most adventurers.

The Rainforest Course is a bit more challenging and requires endurance to traverse and navigate all of the aerial elements.

If you are wearing a cast, brace, or any other evidence of current injury, you will not be permitted on the course.

Support braces routinely worn for added support will be allowed at the discretion of the manager.

If your shoulder, knee, or any other joint tends to dislocate with certain physical activity, you are advised to not attempt the course.

Those who have back, neck or head problems or injuries should consult their physician and inform our staff.

Our Seminole Aerial Adventure courses are designed to be as inclusive and as equal opportunity as possible without compromising safety.

Due to the physical nature of the course, we encourage adventurers to consult their physician prior to their visit.

We are not able to allow anyone who is pregnant, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol to take part in this activity.

When planning your visit, please contact us in advance if you have any special accessibility requirements. In many cases we can find a way to offer a Seminole Aerial Adventures experience that works with your personal needs and abilities.
