Take a Tour of the Zoo

Explore the Zoo on a guided tour, led by our expert teachers. Choose from one of our safaris that transports students to faraway lands as they learn about our planet’s at-risk creatures.

Program Description

Discover fascinating facts about our Zoo’s animals, including their natural history, habitats, status in the wild and the roles Zoos like ours play in their survival. On this Safari-style tour, you’ll travel across the world to meet animals from far and wide, learning about their unique adaptations, natural behaviors, special skills and much more.

 

Program Details

Time:  1 1/2 hours

Dates:  Monday – Friday

Ages:  2nd Grade and up

Group Size:  Maximum 100 per day

Costs:  $16.00 per child; $20.00 per adult

Price Includes Zoo Admission; One Adult Free per 10 children.

Add $1.00 per person if an Animal Encounter is also scheduled.

 

Seminole County Public Schools Discount Rate:

Costs:  $12.00 per child; $20.00 per adult

Price Includes Zoo Admission; One Adult Free per 10 children.

Additional $0.75 per student/$1.00 per paid adult if an Animal Encounter is also scheduled.

Cancellations:  We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel a program. Groups that cancel within 24 hours will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee.
