Mask Policy

Guests, age 13 and older, are required to wear a facial covering.

Guests, age 13 and older, are required to wear a facial covering that fully covers mouth and nose at all times when on Zoo grounds.

  • Facial coverings may be removed ONLY when eating and/or drinking in a stationary location or when in a designated mask free area.
  • Designated mask free areas include the Splash Ground, Playground, Sonny’s Concession Deck, and Rhino Concession Deck. In these areas, you must stay a minimum of 6 feet away from anyone who is not in your party.
  • IMPORTANT: If you arrive without a facial covering, you will be required to purchase one.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens or participating in one of its programs, you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

By purchasing a ticket to the Zoo, you are agreeing to comply with the Zoo’s Mask Policy and all other Zoo Rules.
