Hippity Hop Adventure is back at the Central Florida Zoo, and this is a can’t-miss event for kids this spring. Start the Easter festivities early with a trip to the best zoo in Florida on Saturday, April 16, for candy, prizes and even a few surprises throughout the day. We didn’t forget about the adults. Brews Around the Zoo is the perfect way to spend an adults-only night out in Central Florida. Experience the Central Florida Zoo like never before at this nighttime event featuring beer stations with over 30 different craft beers, a seltzer station and wine tastings, plus live music! This ticketed event will take place Saturday, April 9, from 5 to 9 p.m. and is for adults 21+ only.
Calling all art lovers! Located right in beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford, just down the street from us at the Sanford Zoo, the St. Johns River Festival of the Arts is the perfect way to send spring out with a bang. The event takes place April 30 and May 1, drawing some of the best artists from across the country for a weekend of demonstrations, workshops, food, music, and of course, amazing art. It’s the 10th year for this event, so you know it’s one of many people’s favorite things to do in Sanford.
Looking for Orlando activities? In spring, neighborhood celebrations pop up around Central Florida like flowers, and they’re the perfect things to do in Orlando with kids. Each event has its own personality, so you can pick and choose your own adventure. For example, Ocoee celebrates all things music April 8 and 9. Love blueberries?
